Abstract
The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:
Some 13,000 Roman sherds were recovered from the civil town, including some important dated groups; the need to examine and count all sherds, even where unstratified or derived, is stressed and statistical analyses made. Pompeian-red and African red slip wares were present as well as local 'Eboracum' ware, and the 2nd century pottery industry is assessed, together with the trading patterns. Au(abr)
