Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
In spite of claims to the contrary, in the Aran Islands and on the nearby mainland of Connemara can be seen the last remnants of a primitive short-tailed sheep identified as the Cladagh, representing the domestic sheep of an earlier period. It appears comparable with the "medieval" Orkney and Shetland type rather than the "prehistoric" Soay. Au(abr) | ||||||
