Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
It is argued that agriculture, monuments and material culture should be studied in combination in order to explain the changes which characterise the Neolithic. Using a case study drawn from the Early and Late Neolithic the paper offers an approach which combines an analysis of ceramic use with food consumption and storage. Hypothesises that the changing relationship between consumption and storage is critical to an understanding of monumentality and the treatment of the dead. | ||||
