The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Radiocarbon dates from material washed into the main chamber of the souterrain after its abandonment indicated activity during the last centuries BC and the first centuries AD. Finds suggest its use ceased before the mid-second century AD, not the late second or early third as proposed by a recent model for souterrains. The souterrain was temporarily re-used in the ninth or tenth century AD and rediscovered twice more before its identification in 2000. No trace of any associated settlement survived.
