Abstract:		 In 2011 a programme of archaeological investigations along the route of a pipeline between Pwllheli (SH 38533597) and Blaenau Ffestiniog (SH 70454573) revealed a number of features including several burnt mounds dating from the late Neolithic to early medieval periods, a Bronze Age cremation burial, Iron Age shell midden, medieval corn dryer and a deposit of worked timber dating to the second half of the 14th century that may represent a medieval causeway across Dwyryd flood plain. Includes specialist reports on pollen analysis at Pentrefelin and radiocarbon dates taken from charcoal, preserved plant macrofossils, cremated human bone and a marine shell. Au/SH
