The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Describes a souterrain excavated in 1971. Concludes that the form is generally typical of other Orcadian souterrains, with the exception of a secondary pit feature underlying the floor of the main chamber. A stone ard tip, probably dating to the Bronze Age, is described and illustrated. It is noted that it is likely to be of earlier date than the souterrain (which is tentatively dated to the Iron Age). Discusses the possible date and function of this souterrain and of Orcadian souterrains more generally.
