Abstract: |
The assessment was carried out ahead of development of the 13ha site. As part of this work, historic maps, aerial photographs and the Milton Keynes SMR were consulted. A metal detector survey had recovered medieval and post-medieval finds from the southern part of the area close to the site of Folly Farm. In the medieval period the study area lay within the open fields and had been pasture in recent times. There was no evidence to indicate the presence of any archaeological sites within the study area. [Au(abr)] |
