Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation of geophysical prospection and trenching was undertaken following the proposed extension of the existing opencast site. This investigated two cropmarks previously seen on aerial photographs but found no evidence for any subsoil features creating them. Probable tree holes, land drains and medieval furrows were observed. [AIP] |
