Abstract:
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken as part of a planning application for the construction of an extension. The site lay within the historic core of medieval Brimpstead, immediately east of the extant castle moat. However, no features or finds of archaeological interest were revealed during the excavation of wall footings for the proposed extension. [Au(abr)]
