Abstract: |
Although no features of archaeological interest were identified during the watching brief, nine sherds of Roman pottery of late 1st/early 2nd century date, and one possible piece of prehistoric struck flint were recovered from the resulting spoil heaps. The recovery of finds provided evidence for possible prehistoric and Roman activity in the vicinity. [Au(abr)] |
