Abstract: |
An evaluation on land proposed for housing development at Bradley Farm, involving the excavation of three evaluation trenches, revealed little evidence for buried archaeological features or deposits. The site of a former agricultural building, shown on a map of 1838, was located and finds from the site included several large fragments of post-medieval pottery from the topsoil and small fragments of possible late prehistoric pottery from the surface of the subsoil.
