Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed foundation walls and associated features which represented the site of a building which fronted onto the main road through the village, pottery found in associated with the remains suggested a late 12th - to early 13th century date for its construction and use. The only other archaeological feature identified was a small, isolated pit in which worked flint was found which suggested a prehistoric date. [AIP] |
