Abstract: |
The evaluation at the proposed site of a new garage revealed a substantial east-west aligned wall with a brick and ceramic tile fireplace. The works indicated that remains of the monastic precinct survived below ground in this area. A stone floor was also located. Pottery indicated that the building was levelled no later than 1575. |
