Abstract: |
Three of the four trenches excavated showed that extensive areas of the site had been heavily disturbed by the construction and destruction of 19th century agricultural buildings, although evidence of post hole structures (undated) were also seen. The fourth trench was undisturbed and further features were excavated, although undated they could have been created in any period from the prehistoric to medieval. A watching brief over development was recommended. [AIP] |
