Abstract: |
Deposits of medieval and early post-medieval date were seen in association with a substantial masonry foundation dating from the 14th century and a later less substantial foundation of possible 16th century date. The base of an intruded 18th or early 19th century privy was also revealed. These archaeological deposits were in turn buried beneath a deep disturbed soil, the possible result of later gardening activity and a 20th century extension. [Au(abr)] |
