Abstract: |
All trenches were affected to some degree by disturbance, either by building or landscaping, of Victorian or later date. Where undisturbed natural deposits were encountered no finds or features of archaeological interest were revealed. It was apparent that recent activities on the site would have destroyed any previously surviving archaeological deposits, and this was also thought to be the case on the parts of the site not evaluated. No further archaeological work was required.[Au(abr)] |
