Abstract:
The work was commissioned in order to to rationalize current mineral workings. Nine trenches were excavated, with one cutting the ditch of the heavily plough-damaged barrow. Except for this trench, no archaeological finds, features or deposits were recovered, and it was ascertained that the anomalies identified in the geophysical survey were natural variarions in the geology.
