Abstract: |
Observation of foundation trenches on a development site within the medieval village revealed a quantity of undated building rubble, an 18th/19th century rubbish pit and a single 15th century pottery sherd. From the results of the watching brief it was not possible to say whether archaeology from the shrunken medieval village was likely to have survived in this area of Northend.[AIP] |
