Abstract: |
The evaluation of 33 trenches established evidence for former field boundary and drainage ditches. These features were traced to boundaries shown on historic maps and anomalies on the earlier geophysical survey. These features were likely to have represented evidence for medieval boundaries located around the present farm complex. Few features identified were indicative of settlement-type activity and there was a general paucity of artefacts. [Au(abr)] |
