Abstract: |
20 trenches were targeted on anomalies identifed by a previous geophysical survey. Ditches and post holes related to post-medieval agriculture were present in 6 of the trenches, as well as what may once have been a trackway. It was concluded that where ploughing has not truncated the natural substrata, archaeological remains were unlikely to be present. [Au(adp)] |
