Abstract: |
A watching brief produced three possible Bronze Age features. A post-medieval argricultural soil was found. A single sherd of unstratified high-medieval pottery was recovered. This might suggest that the agricultural soil started forming by that time. The area was likely to have been part of the in-field system of the village of Hill. The land was developed as a school after 1929. [Au] |
