Abstract: |
Monitoring during the construction of an orangery at Denston Hall resulted in the recovery of a single sherd of Thetford ware pottery (9th-12th century). Disturbed fills identified during a ground survey and during the excavation of footing trenches indicated the site of an earlier moat but this remained unproven. [Au] |
