Abstract: |
The evaluation of the car park belonging to the former Catherine Wheel public house consisted of two trenches. Trenches one and two had been excavated in an earlier evaluation. Trench three revealed extensive evidence for post-medieval/modern activity, whilst Trench four revealed evidence for a former brick building also of post-medieval date. No archaeological features or finds of post-medieval date were encountered.[Au(abr)] |
