Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during groundworks in connection with the construction of a bungalow and garage at a site which lay within the historic core of Averham, close to a SAM. Archaeological remains relating to medieval settlement, and possibly Roman or prehistoric occupation, coud potentially have lain within the site. During the watching brief, nothing of archaeological interest was observed. [AIP] |
