Abstract: |
The assessment was carried out in advance of a proposed residential development. The site was used for agricultural purposes until the construction of a Grade II Listed, 20th century garage premises. Documentary sources indicated that the site was originally developed and owned by the Bristol Tramways and Carriage Company Ltd. Recent work also suggested that the site of the Suger House House Pottery lies c.50m to the north of the study area. [Au(adp)] |
