Abstract: |
The assessment of a proposed extension to the quarries suggested that there was limited settlement activity to the south of the site in the 19th century, but none within the site itself. Post-medieval boundary banks, shown on 19th century maps were noted in the woodland section. Previous archaeological assessments in the area concluded that the archaeological potential was poor and the potential for significant archaeological deposits low. [Au(abr)] |
