Abstract: |
Two trenches were dug across the presumed line of the wall ditch. The ditch was recorded 0.78m below the current ground level. Trench three revealed the uppermost ditch fill, above which lay the edge of a metalled track, running diagonally across the ditch. The trackway contained no dateable finds but was sealed by a post-medieval plough soil. [Au(abr)] |
