Abstract: |
A survey and excavation was carried out on the icehouse structure. The icehouse was built in the 18th century and was converted into a pump house to pump water to the main house. A water wheel, tail race, pump mechanism and fire place was added to the pump house. The pump mechanism was in use well into the 20th century. [Au(abr)] |
