Abstract:		 The watching brief was carried out by Cotswold Archaeological Trust prior to the construction of an extension to Grange Cottage, Oxfordshire. The site lay adjacent to Otley moated site, a former Cistercian monastic house founded in 1138 and a Scheduled Ancient Monument (SAM County No. 170). No features of archaeological interest were identified. Natural clay was encountered at a depth of 1.1 metres. [Au]
