The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An evaluation of 10 machine cut trenches revealed an extensive area of brick pits which cut into the natural brickearth. It was likely that these dated to the 18th century and had truncated or destroyed any earlier features. Part of a probable late 18th century brick wall was located over the top of some infilled brick pits. Earlier material was all unstratified/residual and consisted of a few sherds of medieval and early post-medieval pottery along with a number of undiagnostic prehistoric worked flints. [Au]
