Abstract: |
During the watching brief, large quantities of demolition rubble from the demolition of the church were noted, as well as the positions of areas of foundation survival. No coffins or bodies were found within the area of historically-documented vaults beneath the church, as they had been removed prior to demolition. The church foundations were seen to have cut through post-medieval dumped industrial deposits in some places but no remains from earlier periods were identified. [Au(abr)] |
