Abstract: |
Pottery sherds recovered indicated that a settlement of Iron Age and Romano-British date was probably nearby. A pit was revealed, probably relating to the settlement and was preserved in situ. It was agreed that no damage would be done to any archaeology provided that the developers did not excavate to a greater depth than that seen during the watching brief. [AIP] |
