Abstract: |
An evaluation on a site proposed for an extension to a school hydro-therapy pool, located within the scheduled area of Corinium Roman Town (Gloucestershire SAM 361) where previous investigations in 1958 established the presence of numerous lengths of walling and a corridor surfaced tessellated pavement, identified further elements of the Romano-British structure identified in 1958. Later-medieval robbing of the Roman walling was identified. [AIP] |
