Abstract:		 The site was recognised as almost certainly the location of the 13th century manor. Segments of a shallow U-profiled ditch were excavated, which yielded a small assemblage of abraded 12th-13th century pottery. Modern development was expected to have severely truncated or destroyed any other remains at the site. [Au(adp)]
