Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a proposed development site. The intended evaluation area was limited by the presence of a sunken garden and mature trees. No archaeological features were revealed, although pieces of struck flint, cores and burnt flint were recovered. The struck flints were dated to the Bronze Age, although a possible serrated edge tool which may have been of Neolithic date was also identified. It was recommended that no further archaeological work should be carried out. [AIP] |
