Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of foundation trenches for an extension to the Frog and Bulrush Public House. The site lay close to an extensive Anglo-Saxon cemetery and near to the Scheduled Ancient Monument of Bidford Bridge and it was thought that the excavations might disturb archaeological remains relating to the bridge or cemetery. No finds were recovered. [Au(abr)] |
