Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out prior to the construction of seven new houses, with associated car parking and an access road in a former works yard at Pleasant Row during December 2003 and January 2004. A disused well, probably dated to the 19th century and a modern cut feature were found during these groundworks, but no further archaeological remains or artefacts were observed. [AU] |
