Abstract:
A brief search through the easily available literature revealed only the course of a Roman road and a possible quarry [shown on the 1956 OS map as 'pick marks']. For this reason it was deemed that no further archeological work would be needed as quarrying will have removed any surviving archaeological deposits. [AIP]
