Abstract: |
A preliminary assessment was carried out and concluded that there was archaeological potential due to the site's proximity of the town of Dorking. Cartographic evidence revealed that the land to the west of the town remained largely undeveloped until the 1930s. A watching brief was recommended as the area for the proposed pipeline was large.
