Abstract:		 Archaeological monitoring of pipe-laying in road verge trenches revealed relatively little of archaeological interest. Two areas of undatable burnt clay and charcoal flecks and five medieval pottery sherds were recovered however when further topsoil stripping was undertaken in one field. [AIP]
