Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken on the site of a residential development. Four trenches were fully investigated revealing a sequence of natural brickearth and subsoil (the topsoil having been stripped prior to this investigation). Only one archaeological feature was encountered. This was located to the north-east of the site in Trench 3 and took the form of a north-south orientated ditch dated to the 19th century. [Au(abr)] |
