Abstract: |
Although no archaeological deposits were recorded withinthe study itself, this was due to the lack of investigation. Within the immediate vicinity early Roman activity associated with the vicus, a settlement outside the 1st century AD fort, was recorded. The study area lay within Insulae XIV/XV, immediately to the north-east of the centre of Roman Corinium Dobunnorum.[Au(abr)] |
