Abstract: |
Six trenches were opened on the site to investigate the features identified by geophysical survey. Trenches three-six revealed only modern field drains of no archaeological significance, plus a single plough furrow. Trench two, however, contained evidence of a grubbed out hedgerow which was traced to on an early 19th century farm plan. [Au(abr)] |
