Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken on a pipeline renewal scheme. This revealed two areas of archaeological interest. The first area recovered one body sherd of early medieval pottery and a scatter of post-medieval building debris. The second area contained a scatter of heavily burnt undatable clay fragments possibly from a bonfire site. The rest of the pipeline only produced a thin scatter of post-medieval debris. [Au(abr)] |
