An evaluation recorded former cultivation soils overlying a dumped sandy deposit in each of the two trenches. In trench two, a compacted stone surface was recorded at a depth of 105.61m AOD, 1.10m below ground level. The remains of possible stone structures were encountered in the south-easte trench one, a former soil like layer with a surface sloping downwards, gently to the north-west was recorded at a depth of 105.08m AOD, 1.40m below ground level.
