Abstract: |
There remained a strong possibility that the northern mound and north berm of the Vallum lay within the site. The line of the Military Way runs across the site. Therefore, in order to confirm the presence or absence of evidence for past activity on the site, and other tracks or features which might be expected to accompany the Military Way, archaeological evaluation would be required if development of the site were to include ground disturbance.
