Abstract: |
An evaluation was undertaken prior to the determination of a planning application for the construction of a domestic dwelling on the site. The site was located within the medieval 'borough' of Chipping Campden and lay immediately outside the early 17th century SAM of Campden House and ts formal garden (Glocs SAM 11504). Several archaeological layers, including a well-preserved post-medieval pitched stone surface were encountered. [Au(abr)] |
