Abstract: |
The excavation of two test pits revealed the presence of three floor surfaces and a large assemblage of Romano-British pottery which were indicative of the presence of a substantial Roman building on the site. The pottery evidence indicated the occupation may have spanned the AD 2nd and 3rd centuries. [AIP] |
