Abstract: |
The only remains of significance recorded during the evaluation were two features of possible medieval origin and an undated gully. Additional investigations conducted in this region of the site failed to locate associated features. No Palaeolithic artefacts or Romano-British burials were discovered; although low-level activity of this later period may have been suggested by the presence of four Late Iron Age/Early Roman pottery sherds within one of the trenches.
