Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken during groundworks on a church for the development of new facilities. Post-medieval burial vaults and burials, mainly consisting of disarticulated human bone were recorded. The earliest feature exposed were probable 12th century column bases of Purbeck Stone. Two small areas of in situ floor tile areas were also recorded, likely to have been post-medieval in date. [AIP] |
